Whether you are young or old, flexible or stiff, no matter: yoga is for everyone. You get to decide whether you want to break a sweat or sink into relaxation. Our yoga classes are suitable for both beginners and more experienced yogi.
Yin Yang Yoga
Our YIN YANG classes offer the perfect balance between exertion and relaxation. During the first half of class, the YANG portion, we warm up all of the muscles using powerful poses, so that you are ready to surrender to the Yin poses during the second half of class, staying in each pose for 3 to 5 minutes. YIN YOGA relaxes your body at the sub-muscular level, working into the connective tissue. This improves the body’s ability to flush out toxins, activates your digestive system and contributes to a greater sense of inner peace.
Vinyasa Flow Yoga
Our VINYASA FLOW classes consist of a series of yoga poses strung together into a flow, going at the pace of your breath. Explore the (im)possibilities of your body and mind, and perhaps move out of your comfort zone to tackle more challenging poses and transitions. Vinyasa yoga helps you build strength and stamina and improves your flexibility and creativity.
Restorative Yin Yoga
RESTORATIVE YIN is a gentle, therapeutic type of yoga. The poses are geared towards recuperation and recharging the body. They are gentle poses that work into your body’s connective tissue and your joints. You stay in each pose for a longer period of time, allowing you to sink deeply into your body. This type of yoga is perfect for people who want to relax and unwind This is an even more gentle, therapeutic type of yoga, suitable for both beginners and advanced practitioners, regardless of age or constitution.
MINDFULNESS is about attention. Where your attention is, that is where you are too. To put it simply, MINDFULNESS is about being aware of the present experience. By directing your attention in this manner more often, you learn to distance yourself from your thoughts. This helps you focus better and relax more easily, quieting the mind. Our classes will introduce you to the concept of mindfulness and the benefits it could have for you, or offer it as a kind of refresher for your existing meditation practice.

A HATHA class has you holding poses for an intermediate amount of time, compared to VINYASA or YIN yoga, and focuses on strengthening and loosening up your muscles. A HATHA class contains a little bit of everything: strength training, breathing exercises, flexibility, balance, stretching and relaxation. It is a relatively slow, gentle type of yoga.
Hatha (Shivananda) Yoga
All of the above regarding HATHA YOGA still applies, with the exception that our HATHA SHIVANANDA classes consist of a fixed series of poses. When you practice the series more often and thus become more familiar with it, the sense of familiarity and repetition will enable you to turn inward more easily during your practice, thus allowing the mind to quiet down more and letting you feel your body even better.
YIN YOGA focuses on slowing down, softness, and being gentle to yourself. In YIN yoga, you stay in the poses for longer periods of time, allowing you to really turn inward. This can be quite an interesting experience for those of us who are used to life in a modern, rushed society. Apart from offering mental relaxation, YIN poses are also geared towards strengthening and loosening up your joints and connective tissue. YIN poses are also geared towards strengthening and loosening up your joints and connective tissue.
Vinyasa (Gentle) Yoga
VINYASA (GENTLE) YOGA has you moving fluently at the pace of your own breath. These classes are a milder version of our regular VINYASA FLOW classes. In our VINYASA GENTLE classes, we take things a bit more slowly, enabling you to explore the poses in a more in-depth fashion. There is also more room for relaxation throughout. VINYASA (GENTLE) classes are suitable for beginners, as well as anyone looking for a class that contains both exertion and relaxation.
Yin & Yoga nidra
The combination of Yin and Yoga Nidra is extremely relaxing for both the body and the nervous system. The Yin poses offer you plenty of time to feel whatever comes up for you (physically, mentally, energetically, emotionally…). The Yoga Nidra session, which follows right after the Yin portion or class, will help you relax even more as you are drawn into a guided meditation. Your body will enter sleep mode, but your mind will remain clear and focused on my voice, thus ensuring that you are aware of the deep level of relaxation you are in. At the end of class, you will feel rested, recharged, and supported.
